Over the past several weeks, numerous people have pointed out on social media that former President Donald Trump appears to be shedding a whole lot of his “extra” weight rather quickly.
Seriously, a lot of people. And honestly, I can’t say that I disagree with them. Here lately, quite a few photos and clips of the former guy at his Mar-a-Lago resort have been making their way around Twitter and there’s just no denying that he looks different these days. But not in a stereotypical “good” way.
While I certainly don’t personally know Donald Trump’s eating and exercise habits, I’ve gotta say that, just from what I do know combined with the looks of the guy these days, I think Trump’s recent change in appearance has pretty much nothing to do with a healthy lifestyle change and more likely a whole lot to do with a boatload of stress coupled with his advanced age and likely declining overall health.
Seriously, he just doesn’t look good. And, honestly, I’m not all that surprised — the one-term, twice-impeached former guy hasn’t had it easy in life since his disgraceful departure from the White House a little over a year ago now, as all of these various entities came for him with the full force of the law behind them, armed with lawsuits and investigations, the moment he was no longer protected by the powers of the presidency.
You add to that the mental load of maintaining his endless election conspiracies and the infamous Big Lie, and it makes for a hard knock life, I suppose.

Hard enough, in fact, that he seems to be shedding the pounds rather quickly. And it’s impossible not to notice.
