According to a new report from CNN, scandal-plagued Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is slated to visit a retirement community in his home state and the residents are not looking forward to it at all.
Residents of The Villages retirement community in Florida told CNN today that they’re “horrified” at the prospect of Gaetz, who’s currently embroiled in numerous heinous sex crime allegations, paying a visit to their community.
Gaetz will reportedly be visiting the retirement community with his crackpot Q-Anon colleague, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Village resident Chris Stanley told CNN that they’re “absolutely horrified” over the impending visit.
Stanley went on to say that, while the accusations against Congressman Gaetz are absolutely heinous, disgusting, and brutally serious, Gaetz’s district is “so red that he could be re-elected if he was in prison.”

Another resident of the community, Mike Faulk, told CNN that he feels Gaetz is touring The Villages with Greene in an effort to distract the American people from the fact that he’s currently under investigation for disgusting sex crimes, including but not limited to sex trafficking and maintaining a sexual relationship with an underage girl.
“By coming down here, he’s really kind of doing a distraction tour,” Faulk theorized.
Dave Davidson, a Republican resident of The Villages, told CNN he’s not buying what the GOP congressman is selling when it comes to Gaetz’s claims that these allegations are all part of an elaborate extortion scheme against his whole family.
Speaking sarcastically of Gaetz’s extortion claims, Davidson said, “It’s a nice story.”
I think it’s more than safe to say at this point that Congressman Gaetz is an outcast now, even among his own “people.” His own “wingman” turned on him and the evidence against him is mounting at every turn. You’re disgusting, Gaetz, and people know it.
