Republican Lawmaker Louie Gohmert Just Humiliated Himself When Asked About Navarro Indictment: “If You’re A Republican, You Can’t Even Lie To Congress Or Lie To An FBI Agent “

Yea, he said that.

The Right-wing world was absolutely shooketh today after former Trump administration official and staunch MAGA loyalist Peter Navarro just found out the hard way that the January 6th House Select Committee that’s currently investigating the infamous, deadly Capitol attack meant what they said when they warned the former president and his closest allies over recent weeks that they’re officially fed up and finished with the “f*cking around” part of this investigation, and they’re now steamrolling forward with the “find out” portion.

This morning, the United States Department of Justice released a new statement revealing that the devout Trump ally has now officially been indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress hailing from his outright and ongoing refusal to comply with congressional subpoenas issued against him by the House Select Committee.

The DOJ also noted, “Each count of contempt of Congress carries a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of one year in jail, as well as a fine of up to $100,000. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.”

The development has effectively sent the entire Right wing reeling — with Matt Gaetz looking a bit on the rattled side as the news came in during a live episode of his podcast, while Peter Navarro himself flew completely off the handle outside the courthouse this afternoon.

They’re so torn up, in fact, that some of them are out here downright telling on themselves without even realizing it.

Texas House Rep. Louie Gohmert, who’s been at the epicenter of a metric ton of fuckery himself over the years, spoke on the topic of Navarro’s indictment and arrest during an appearance on Newsmax today — and to say that he said the quiet part out loud would be an understatement.

Gohmert said this development is cold, hard proof of a “two-tiered justice system” because “If you’re a Republican, you can’t even lie to Congress or lie to an FBI agent or they’re coming after you… They’ll bury you.”

Uhm… No one is allowed to do that, sir.
