Republican Senator’s Husband Seemingly Refuses To Shake Kamala Harris’ Hand, And It Was Caught On Video

Some MAGA supporters will stop at nothing to be rude.

There is just no level that’s too low for some MAGA Republicans. That’s certainly true for Bruce Fischer, the husband of Nebraska GOP Sen. Deb Fischer. He refused to shake the hand of Vice President Kamala Harris during a swearing-in ceremony.

In the clip, Harris politely extends a hand to Deb Fischer while swearing her in and says “Congratulations. Thank you for your work and congratulations to you, thank you.” Then she offers her hand to Fischer’s husband, who tersely refuses to shake her hand. Harris, looking embarrassed and confused, pulls her hand away.

This is pretty low, even by MAGA Republican standards.

Brian Tyler Cohen, who hosts the No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen observed:

“The husband of a Republican senator just refused to shake hands or make eye contact with Vice President Harris. The level of class you can expect from MAGA.”

Social media users also thought Bruce Fischer was quite rude, and they knew what to say.

@CorkYou noted Bruce Fischer was now going viral on social media for all the right reasons.

@cigars_esquared posted a notedly pointed and funny tweet:

MAGA Republicans are merely aping their messiah’s notoriously rude behavior. He has, after all, called Harris “Lazy as hell,” because she didn’t hold a campaign event. He’s also called her a “stupid person” and asked “Does she drink? Is she on drugs?”

Well, if you watched the debate between Trump and Harris, you’d think the President-elect exemplified all of these things. But this is typical for Trump. He’s quite racist and loves to spread stereotypical tropes. This is who our next president is.

Aren’t we lucky?

Bruce Fischer’s crude behavior was captured on video, but this is merely a sign of things to come.
