Ron DeSantis Responded To President Biden’s Recent Quip About Him And It’s Even Pettier Than We Expected

Dude, this is not a good look.

As I’m sure you’re well aware, there’s been a bit of a squabble going down between Democratic President Joe Biden and Trump-loving GOP Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Now, when I say squabble, I mean DeSantis is being his typical petty, Right-wing nutcase self while Biden is living his best life, taking care of this nation (Florida included: i.e. his recent assistance with the condo catastrophe, much to Conservatives’ dismay), and letting Ron’s ridiculousness roll off his back like a duck in water.

Recently, Biden showed just how much he really doesn’t care about Florida’s Trump 2.0 when a reporter asked him about a recent jab DeSantis had taken at the President in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, only for President Biden to turn and joke, “Governor who?”

Of course, as you’d expect, DeSantis took that personally and quickly shot back with a nasty, petty response that only a GOPer could come up with.

Instead of realizing that the President was making a joke about how little he cares about DeSantis or what he thinks, the Florida governor took the notion that Biden “forgot” his name and ran with it like the petulant man-child he is.

“I guess I’m not surprised that Biden doesn’t remember me,” DeSantis said when a reporter questioned him about Biden’s quip during a recent press conference in Panama City. “I guess the question is, what else has he forgotten?”

Of course, the GOP governor didn’t stop there. He went on to attack, ” Biden has forgotten about the crisis on our southern border. I can tell you that. Biden has forgotten about the inflation that’s biting the budgets of families all throughout our country. Biden has forgotten about the demonstrators who are fighting for freedom down in Cuba. Biden’s even forgotten about the Constitution itself, as we saw with what he did with this moratorium.”

DeSantis, whose state is positively drowning in COVID cases as we speak, went on to add, “His vision is — just like in New York City — restaurants should ban young kids because they cannot be vaccinated. Law-abiding citizens have to show proof of their medical records to go to the gym or attend an event? He wants that. But if you want to vote, he thinks it’s too much of a burden to show a picture ID.”

I gotta tell ya, dude. This was not a good look.
