Sarah Huckabee Sanders Seemingly Goes After Harris For Not Having Biological Children, People Make Her Regret It

She is unbelievable.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders appears to be criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris for not having children and she’s so off the mark it’s hard to know where to begin. The Arkansas GOP Governor, who values $19,000 podiums above all else when she’s not persecuting LGBTQ+ people accompanied her former boss Donald Trump to Michigan, where the two were on hand for a Town Hall event.

She tried to pillory Harris for not having “biological children,” and I think this is particularly stupid on Huckabee Sanders’ part because I’ve noticed that in most families both parents view those kids as their own.

Republicans against Trump noticed her lame-brained remarks and posted them on X (formerly Twitter).

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders hits Vice President Harris for not having biological children:”

“My kids keep me humble. Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn’t have anything keeping her humble.”

This obnoxious woman has also squandered taxpayers’ money on lavish trips for her and her husband, such as when the couple and their three kids had a blast at the Super Bowl last January on tickets that cost more than six figures. It’s not clear if taxpayers paid for this and Sanders has evaded questions about this.

Maybe I’m wrong, but this is not how humble people act. Humility is exemplified with grace, and in my mind, Harris displays this pretty regularly. She and her husband Doug Emhoff, who has two children from a previous marriage, have been married since 2014 and the couple care for two kids, Ella and Cole. Because Harris dotes over these kids, she’s earned the nickname Momala.

You don’t earn a name like that if you aren’t humble. And quite frankly, if you need children to keep you humble, there’s a good chance you haven’t done much with your life. Some of us are humble because we strive to get a proper education, or we’ve moved to other countries to see how other people live. Or we have meaningful work that fulfills us. Unlike Huckabee Sanders, many women are finding out they don’t need a family to keep themselves humble.

Other social media users weren’t impressed with Huckabee Sanders’s attempts to demean Harris and this stirred up the conversation.

“She’s pathetic and embarrassing. Join the J.D. crowd in alienating women Sarah. Glad she at least wore a smock with a bow vs her usual shower curtain.”

“Shame on Sarah Huckabee Sanders for using family status as a political weapon, targeting VP Kamala Harris’ personal choices. Humility comes from character, not childcare,” wrote @itsSheraz7.

@Shellzonit added:

“So, can we stop acting like people who do not have children lack the ability to be caring? There are a lot of reasons why people do not have children. Those reasons do not make them less American, loved, or valued.”

Don’t get me wrong. It’s great if Huckabee Sanders thinks her kids keep her humble, even if she never does act humble. But there are more and more of us who find other ways to stay humble. Her attack on Harris indicates jealousy (you’ll never see Harris wearing a tablecloth) and perhaps brown-nosing because she may well hope Donnie dearest finds her a job in his Cabinet.
