Scandal-Ridden Ex-President Is Likely In Mental Shambles, Trump Biographer Said Donald Is “Very Aware” That He Could End Up In Prison

He knows...

Donald Trump’s life is crashing down around him at an alarming rate. There is no way to twist, flip, contort, or manipulate that fact. It is simply a fact. As factual as the sky is blue and 2+2=4.

The lawsuits against him, the lawsuits he keeps losing in court, the shame, and the humiliation of it all have been bad enough, all on their own. It’s been enough to send any man running mortified for the hills, never to be seen or heard from again. But in the case of the scandal-ridden former president, the reputational damage he’s suffered over the past few years is, frankly, the least of his worries.

The ex-president is the subject of multiple criminal investigations that continue to mount against him, with increasingly damning evidence against him seeming to surface nearly every day. At this point, the US Department of Justice, quite literally the highest law in the land, has gotten deeply involved in its own probes into the corrupt 45th president of the United States.

Donald Trump is facing prison time — and he knows it.

Recently, one of Trump’s biographers, Tim O’Brien, author of TrumpNation: The Art of Being the Donald, made an appearance on MSNBC with host Ali Velshi, where the author was questioned regarding the onslaught of legal peril the former president is facing these days.

Velshi listed off just a few of those, “This guy, Donald Trump, has for the last few weeks has been staring down the barrel of the January 6th investigation, [special counsel] Jack Smith looking of the January 6th investigation, the parallel Department of Justice investigation. Mar-a-Lago, his company is being found guilty in New York state, the Georgia investigation. There is a lot of stuff closing in on Donald Trump today.”

The MSNBC host went on to ask, “He likes to pretend he doesn’t care about this stuff, maybe part of the pretending he is not caring is declaring he’s gonna run for president. What is going on with Donald Trump right now?”

“I think Donald Trump completely recognizes he has existential threats in front of him, Ali,” O’Brien answered. “I think there is this myth that has developed around Trump that he escapes everything, that he can’t be touched and he not only has nine lives, but he has 18.”

“The reality is he has never had these intense purposeful investigations on his doorstep in multiple jurisdictions with very serious consequences attended to all of them,” the Trump biographer went on to add. “The Manhattan district attorney’s case, that may have other dimensions to it, but even if all we get out of that is this recent fraud conviction against the company and a fine that the company can easily digest, there still are these other titanic prosecutions staring at him.”

“The New York state attorney general could put the Trumps out of business permanently in the state of New York,” O’Brien went on to add. “The Justice Department, should they indict Donald Trump on criminal charges, he could end up in jail. Do I think it will go there? I don’t know. But he is very aware of it.”
