Earlier this year, controversial Colorado Republican House Rep. Lauren Boebert seemed to kick off what would end up being an absolute avalanche of scandal when she rather proudly announced to the world that her teenage son and his teenage girlfriend were soon to make her a 36-year-old grandmother.
It wasn’t long after that Boebert, of course, had to kick into damage control mode and point out that she “refuses to nitpick what the Bible says” when it came to her underage son impregnating his underage girlfriend out of wedlock — apparently following in his parents’ footsteps.
Of course, we’re assuming that this refusal to “nitpick” also applies to the recent Beetlejuice-gate 2023 incident. But I digress…
Since her announcement and subsequent tail-tucking, Lauren’s grandson has been born into the world and is currently a strapping young lad at 6 months old.

Earlier this year, the extreme Right-wing congresswoman — who is staunchly anti-sex education and anti-choice — finally debuted the tot on her social media account.
Allow me to preface this by saying the baby himself his absolutely adorable with the cutest head full of hair I’ve ever seen who can’t even walk or talk yet, is completely innocent by all intents and purposes, and deserves absolutely NO criticism or rude remarks directed toward him — the poor child can’t help being born to the world’s most unfortunate grandparents.
However, as painfully cute as the little man is, it was his onesie that gave us… pause, to put it kindly.
In the debut photo posted to the congresswoman’s Instagram, Lauren’s grandson was wearing a white onesie that read, “Newest Colorado Republican.”
Again, the poor child can’t help who he was born to, or what they choose to dress him in. But suffice it to say, we were more than a little sickened yet somehow not at all surprised by the fact that Lauren Boebert basically chose to use her innocent grandbaby as a political prop to further her nasty, Right-wing agenda, which has included voting against literal baby formula and all forms of government assistance for families struggling to get by.
It’s certainly clear at this point that there is quite literally NO low this woman won’t sink to — including her own grandchild.
