Sean Hannity Is Pitching A Hilariously Ironic Hissy Fit, Says He’s Going To Sue “Lying” Democratic Senate Candidate… For Calling Hannity A Liar

You mad, bro?

New reporting from Rolling Stone has recently revealed that former President Trump — and his “golden” endorsements — is feeling less than optimistic about his Pennsylvania Senate pick, Television personality Dr. Mehemet Oz. A lot less than optimistic, actually. According to the report, Trump has been telling his allies that Oz is going to “f*cking” lose his race to his Left opponent, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, who is now the Democratic nominee in the impending election, if Oz doesn’t turn his campaign around — and fast.

But Sean Hannity — a top Fox News host and close personal friend of scandal-ridden ex-President Trump — is a devoutly avid supporter of Dr. Oz and he’s big mad to see the television personality brutally floundering in the polls, with Fetterman beating him out nearly across the board. In fact, it’s apparently bothering Hannity so deeply that Fetterman was the main focus of his Fox segment last night, where he absolutely raged against the PA Democratic Senate nominee and even went so far as to sue Fetterman for saying bad things about him, “lying” on him, and “raising money off of” Hannity’s name.

“He apparently sent yet another fundraising text today attacking me, lying about me (and) calling me a liar,” Hannity raged against Fetterman in his unhinged rant on his Fox segment last night. “Every day (that) he lies about me, I will continue to tell the truth about his radical, extreme positions (that are) way out of touch with the hard-working people of Pennsylvania. By the way, my trust-fund-brat friend, I will attack you back 10 to 100 times harder because you are a lying loser and raising money for your losing campaign…. He may be hearing from my lawyers very shortly. He better hope that mommy and daddy have enough money to pay his legal bills.”

Hannity went on to claim that in one of Fetterman’s fundraising messages, the PA Democratic nominee said of the Fox host, “Can you please rush a donation of $25 right now to help me.… fight back against future Fox News attacks? We’ve got to counter Sean Hannity with as much grassroots support as possible.”

Unsurprisingly, the Fox host didn’t actually make it clear as to what sort of lawsuit he wants to lodge against John Fetterman. Though, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that a defamation lawsuit would more than likely be dead in the water before it even got started, thanks to the precedent set by the U.S. Supreme Court in its New York Times v. Sullivan ruling of 1964. In a unanimous decision, the Warren Court ruled that the plaintiff in any defamation lawsuit must be able to prove without reasonable doubt that the defendant acted with “actual malice.” Heated arguments in the political stratosphere simply ain’t it.

Hannity, of course, attempted to paint Fetterman and his US Senate race as a “losing campaign,” but a quick glance at the polls shows that the Fox host couldn’t be further off base if he tried. In fact, a poll that was just released on the 22nd of August from the Trafalgar Group shows Fetterman with a lead over Oz of at least 5 percent. And that’s not even the worst one yet for the Republican television personality. A recent Public Opinion Strategies poll showed Oz trailing his Democratic opponent by a whopping 18 percent, while a poll from Hannity’s own stomping grounds, Fox News, back in July showed Fetterman screaming past Oz by 11 points.

Good luck with that lawsuit, Sean.
