Multiple news outlets have reported that, after a 6-day trial, former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar has been found guilty in his child pornography case.

The eldest Duggar child was immediately taken into custody this afternoon after a jury of his peers officially convicted him on one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography — nearly two years after the Department of Homeland Security raided the used car lot where Duggar worked, seizing a computer with videos and photos of child porn.

Back when the news first broke, Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Gerald Faulkner revealed that one file in particular contained sex abuse images involving children ranging from the age of 18 months to 12 years old, going on to describe the content as being “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine.”

Now, a bombshell report from InTouch Weekly has revealed Josh’s final words to his wife, Anna Duggar, who has remained steadfastly supportive of the convicted child abuser, with who she shares 7 children, throughout the entire trial — and, given all that we know now, his parting words with his wife are particularly sickening.

According to the report, Josh told his wife Anna that he “loved” her, following his guilty verdict in the heinous child pornography trial, right before he was taken into custody by law enforcement officials in the courtroom.

The Sun reports that Duggar was “teary-eyed” and “solemn” as the judge convicted the former reality TV star this morning.

The judge noted after today’s conviction that Duggar will likely be sentenced for his crimes in about 4 months, though he will only be sentenced for the charge of receiving child pornography and not possession, as possession is a lesser charge.

Duggar faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each count he’s convicted of. The former reality TV star’s attorney stated after the verdict that they plan to appeal.

Josh’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, recently announced his candidacy for a special Senate election in their state of Arkansas, running, of course, on the Conservative ticket. Jim Bob was previously a member of the Arkansas GOP House.
