Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) doesn’t really understand the meaning of friendship. One only has to look at how he treated his pal John McCain’s memory after former President Donald Trump repeatedly attacked him after his death. So, most of us would prefer not to share a friendship with the South Carolina Republican.
President Joe Biden and John McCain were colleagues and friends, their friendship dating back to the 1970s. However, Graham just said that he wants to end his friendship with the President, even though Graham spoke about his friendship with Biden in 2015, calling the then-Vice President “the nicest person I think I’ve ever met in politics,” and “as good a man as God ever created.”
“If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. You need to do some self-evaluation, ’cause, what’s not to like?” Graham added.
Well, Graham wants to break up with Biden now over the U.S.’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying that he “will never forgive” the President, even though Donald Trump set this in motion.
Business Insider reports that during an interview on Fox News’s ‘America’s Newsroom’ show, Graham said, “I’ve known Joe Biden for a long time. I had a good personal relationship with him. He’s a decent man, but what he did in Afghanistan, I will never forgive him for.”

“He has blood on his hands, and he’s made America less safe,” Graham said. “And he’s been the most consistently wrong man on foreign policy in my lifetime.”
It’s odd that Graham hasn’t ended his friendship with Trump over his plans to bring our troops home. Lindsey has always been a warmonger.
Joe Biden has been the most incompetent president in my lifetime on foreign policy. Worse than Jimmy Carter. He doesn’t understand the nature of the war on terrorism.https://t.co/lQstrV1j04

The Twitterverse lit up.
Jimmy Carter negotiated the downfall of the Soviet Union, those are big shoes to fill.

Remember Lindsey “you can use my words against me” Graham said what?
“Trump is a fucking idiot,” Lindsey Graham actually said that on national TV pic.twitter.com/IHU8hpUoiS

I notice Graham doesn’t mention that it was #45 who signed a surrender agreement with the Taliban ONLY, omitting any input from the Afghan gov’t that the USA stood up & funded. Where was his outrage when Trump signed this agreement in Feb. 2020? GMAFB! https://t.co/RkQaO8nypp

Graham also predicted a 9/11-like attack would come as a result of the withdrawal, but he failed to mention that Trump released 5,000 Taliban prisoners. I doubt that President Biden will lose any sleep after learning that Lindsey doesn’t want to be friends anymore. Since Lindsey shits all over McCain’s memory, losing his friendship is kind of a plus.
