Senator Leahy Slams Lindsey Graham In The Middle Of Hearing For Cutting Off Sally Yates: “Just Because It’s A Woman Testifying Doesn’t Mean She Has To Be Cut Off Every Answer”

He got called out.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) got called out by Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) for engaging in a sexist tactic as former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates testified during a hearing.

Just prior to Yates’ testimony, Donald Trump lashed out at her in a rage and called for Republicans to play games with her.

Graham, also known as Trump’s lapdog, apparently read this tweet because he repeatedly tried to interrupt Yates while she was trying to answer his questions, something Graham and other Republicans usually would not do if Yates were a man.

This drew an objection from Leahy, who made that exact point.

“Let her answer the question,” Leahy said. “Just because it’s a woman testifying doesn’t mean she has to be cut off every answer.”

“Yeah, thanks a lot, Senator Leahy,” Graham sarcastically responded. “You’re being really constructive.”

Here’s the video:

Graham is currently conducting a witch hunt against the Obama administration as part of Trump’s “Obamagate” conspiracy theory that the previous administration used the FBI and intelligence agencies to spy on his campaign and hurt his chances to win the 2016 Election.

As we all know, the Russia investigation was a legitimate probe into Russian interference with the election that involved Trump’s campaign, resulting in several of his associates going to prison, including George Papadopoulos and Paul Manafort. Others who pleaded guilty or were found guilty but did not go to prison because Trump intervened include Roger Stone and Michael Flynn.

Trump continues to insist that the investigation was a conspiracy to take him down, and Graham is going along with it to please him. Treating Yates in a sexist manner is clearly something Trump would approve of and that’s why Graham is doing it. Thankfully, Democrats like Leahy aren’t putting up with that bullsh*t.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
