Texas Republican Ted Cruz doesn’t just abandon his constituents while they are suffering through a weather crisis; he also mocks the United States military because that’s the kind of guy he is. Cruz, for the record, has never served in the military. In a tweet, he mocked our military as “emasculated” while fawning over an ad for the Russian military, and it’s pretty sick. The Trump sycophant never denounced former President Donald Trump when he sided with Putin over US intelligence agencies, so we don’t expect much from him anyway. But, to tout Russia’s military while mocking our own is entirely inappropriate.
