There is a whole entire slew of sickening, disgusting things that I could take hours upon hours to point out about Donald Trump’s middle child, Eric Trump. He’s a grifter of the utmost proportions. While he’s not enjoying an official White House position like his sister is, he certainly loves to soak up that nepotism at every chance he gets. And he’s constantly backing up his father’s cruel and inhumane policies all over Fox News.
But I think we can all agree that perhaps the most stomach-churning thing about Donald Trump’s middle son is his hunting habits.
Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of hunting in general — just a personal preference. However, the hunting sport that Eric Trump and his big brother Don Jr. partake in regularly is a far cry from your average deer hunting. These men go out of their way to use their clout and their connection to their daddy to hunt and kill big, often endangered animals for no other reason than the “fun” of it.

That’s precisely why, when Eric took to his Instagram account recently to brag about saving a shelter dog, people weren’t all that impressed with his hypocrisy.
“This is proof of what unconditional love can do — the video is Ben today, part of our family, feeling loved and so happy every single day,” the Trump spawn captioned a video of his child and their family pooch. “The pictures were Ben before he came to us. He was abused, forgotten and thrown in a shelter to die. We could have never guessed the love and joy Ben would bring to our family those 4 short years ago, and we wouldn’t trade him for the world.”
He wrapped the Instagram post up with the hashtags, “AdoptDontShop” and RescueDogsRock.”
I think it’s great that Eric adopted a shelter dog. I think it’s great that he’s encouraging others to do the same. But hypocrisy ain’t a good color on you, Eric. And the rest of social media seems to agree with me:
Well done but pity you can’t show the same compassion for wildlife. Double standards.

To be clear we’re thanking this Goop on rescuing animals from shelters….but will go to the wild to shoot & kill innocent animals to be trophy heads on a wall & rugs? You big up monsters like this for saving rescue dogs but will shame ppl who buy pure breed dogs. 🧐 🤔 pic.twitter.com/xwbhrW25ea

Eric, We appreciate your stance on adoption of animals! Can you find it in your heart to end your trophy hunting trips? We are praying both you and your brother will realize that killing exotic animals is not conservation. Is the “thrill of the kill” worth the loss of life?

Guys, please adopt, don’t shop. And while you’re at it, don’t kill endangered animals to make up for your inability to satisfy your wife.
