Eric Trump certainly seems terrified of New York attorney general Letitia James’s investigation over claims that the former President fraudulently inflated the value of some assets to get better loans from banks and undervalued them to reduce his tax bills. Former President Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, took a shot at James, calling her a “sick person.” And Trump has lashed out at James in a statement. So, of course, Eric Trump jumped into the melee, too.
Eric somehow made the bizarre claim on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show that James’s investigation “violates the Constitution” and added, “It’s unethical. It’s wrong.”
“This is what you’d expect from Russia,” he added. “This is what you’d expect from Venezuela. This is third-rate stuff.”

I guarantee you that none of the Trumps have read the Constitution, even though it’s a short read. Maybe if it was a picture book, they’d glance through it.
