In case you didn’t know, Donald Trump spent a lot of his presidency seemingly unable to decide where he stands on governments killing people.
Back in his presidential days, during a speaking event in the White House Oval Office, Donald Trump seemed gung-ho on the death penalty in regard to leaders of the MS-13 gang, stating, “We believe the monsters who murder children should be put to death… My administration will not rest until every member of MS-13 has been brought to justice.”

However, when it came to the individuals who were executed for protesting in Iran, Trump hopped on his Twitter account to pretend like he gave a single shit about the Iranian people and show off his blatant hypocrisy for the whole world to see with this gem of a tweet:
Three individuals were sentenced to death in Iran for participating in protests. The execution is expected momentarily. Executing these three people sends a terrible signal to the world and should not be done! #StopExecutionsInIran

For one, let’s not act for a second like Donald Trump gives a damn about what happens to the Iranian people. For two, Trump would be executing Black Lives Matter protesters left and right if he thought he could get away with it.
And one source who has a long history with the entire Trump family had a very interesting, similar theory on Trump’s take on the death penalty and executions, at the time.
Noel Casler, who formerly worked on the set of The Apprentice with the Trump family and even served as Ivanka’s personal handler had this to say about Donnie’s Twitter outburst:
Just a reminder: Trump want’s to bring back the federal death penalty and his SCOTUS will allow it. If you think he wouldn’t execute his rivals you have never met the man. He would send his own kids to the gallows for a buck. @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/mypeP4oB6q

“He would send his own kids to the gallows for a buck,” Casler asserted.
And I’ve gotta tell ya, I don’t doubt that for one second.
Donald Trump is all for whatever will best serve Donald Trump at the moment. Whether that’s the death penalty in the US, executions in Iran, or hanging his own kids in the streets for the right price.
