Suspect’s Mother In Michigan School Tragedy Wrote A Letter To Trump Thanking Him For Allowing Her “Right To Bear Arms”

Well, this is disturbing.

On Wednesday, Ethan Crumbley, 15, was identified by authorities as the teenage suspect in the mass shooting a day earlier at Michigan’s Oxford High School. Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said that Crumbley will be charged as an adult and that the tragedy was planned “well in advance.” Four students at the school were killed, and seven others were injured, including a teacher. McDonald said that she is considering charges against the 15-year-old’s parents. The gun was purchased by his father just four days before the attack. In total, Crumbley faces 24 different counts as an adult.

School administrators previously flagged Crumbley for “behavior in the classroom that they felt was concerning,” He was called in to talk with school officials on Monday and Tuesday. On the morning of the shooting, the suspect’s parents were brought into the school for a face-to-face meeting about their son’s behavior. So, for some reason, this troubled teen had access to the firearm his father purchased just days earlier, even though his parents were aware that he had behavior problems in the classroom.

The Daily Beast reports that Jennifer Crumbley, 43, the suspect’s mother, wrote an open letter to then-president-elect Donald Trump on her blog in November of 2016, just days after the election.

In her open letter to Trump, Jennifer Crumbley thanks the then-president-elect “for “my right to bear arms.” She writes that she’s “a feminist” and pro-choice just before she rails against Hillary Clinton.

Mrs. Crumbley fawns over Trump, writing, “I have high hopes you will shut down Big Pharma, make health care affordable for me and my MIDDLE CLASS family again. I hope you uncover the cure for cancer, because there is one, we all know it, but you are the one to prove it.”

Fast forward four years and Trump did not shut down Big Pharma, he didn’t offer a healthcare plan, and he didn’t cure cancer, but Crumbley said she didn’t vote for Clinton because she “learned to go with my gut.”

Ironically, she wrote, “I knew in the deepest of my gut that I could not let this woman have control over my son’s future.”

“As a female and a Realtor, thank you for allowing my right to bear arms,” she continued. “Allowing me to be protected if I show a home to someone with bad intentions. Thank you for respecting that Amendment.”

She ended the blog post with, “Yours Truly,” and signed it: “A hard working Middle Class Law Abiding Citizen who is sick of getting fucked in the ass and would rather be grabbed by the pussy.”

I wonder why they allowed their troubled teenage son to have access to a firearm. And Trump didn’t allow her to exercise her first amendment rights. It’s in the Constitution, so I’m not sure what that’s about.
