Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz put his anger management issues on full display earlier this week during a press conference with some of his fellow Republican senators as he cursed and slammed his fists on the podium while ranting and raging against the media’s “hypocrisy” and what he feels are one-sided questions when it comes to politicians masking up amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
At one point during the press briefing event, Cruz was questioned by a member of the media as to why he and the other Republican senators on the stage weren’t wearing masks.
“As far as I know, everyone here has been vaccinated,” Cruz answered at first, “has been double vaccinated, been boosted.”
But it didn’t take long for him to simmer and effectively blow up all over the stage.

“On the question of hypocrisy, you just asked, you people at the podium are speaking without masks. Just once, I’d like to see a reporter say to Joe Biden when he,” the Texas senator began to fume, slamming his fists against the podium he was standing behind at this point, “stands at the damn podium in the White House without a mask, ‘Mr. President, why aren’t you wearing a mask?'”
“Just once, I’d like to see you say to Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, when she stands,” Ted continued to angrily rage, slamming both of his hands against the podium yet again, “at the podium with no mask, ‘Ms. Psaki, why don’t you have a mask?'”
“The questions are only directed at one side, and I got to say that the American people see the hypocrisy,” the senator spit.
The only thing the American people see at this particular moment, Ted, is you showing your ass on stage. Worry a little less about what the media is doing and a little more about your own emotional regulation, k?
