Things are getting a bit catty among the Republicans, as Fox News’ biggest idiot, Tucker Carlson, publicly called on candidates in the party to “make fun of” South Carolina GOP Senator and wishy-washy Trump sycophant Lindsey Graham.

In one of his Fox segments over the weekend, Tucker addressed candidates within the Republican party and publicly told them that they should not try to “emulate” Senator Graham.

In Friday’s episode of his Fox show, Tucker Carlson said, “Okay, so just to be clear to Republican candidates, that was Lindsey Graham. Your job is to make fun of Lindsey Graham and to disavow Lindsey Graham. Your job is not to emulate Lindsey Graham and steal his talking points and if you do emulate Lindsey Graham and steal those talking points, you will lose and the losing candidates did just that.”

Just before he made his remarks, the Fox talking head had aired a clip of Lindsey Graham’s recent comments on the ongoing war in Ukraine. In the clip, the South Carolina senator said, “The question is, ‘Can we do more and should we do more?’ The answer is yes to both.”

According to Carlson, Republican candidates who focus on foreign policy and affairs could expect to lose their races in a cloud of disgrace and shame, adding that American voters simply just do not care about these issues.

He then went on to draw a comparison between GOP candidates who have spoken out in favor of foreign policy measures, such as US support for Ukraine in their ongoing war against the Russian invasion, as opposed to those candidates who have kept their focus on domestic issues.

“So, compare what they were saying to what, for example, Joe Kent was saying in Washington state when he won his primary there as a challenger,” Carlson remarked over a clip of Kent talking about the “ramifications” of the US supporting Ukraine through their war with Russia.

Tucker ultimately opined that candidates publicly speaking on matters that Americans actually care about will help to secure more Republican wins in the upcoming election season.

“So, if more Republicans in November say what you just heard Joe Kent say, they will win if they talk about the issues that people actually care about in this country, issues that are relevant to their lives, they will win. That’s how they won those school board seats in Florida. They weren’t talking about Ukraine. They were talking about the issues that matter to the voters in Florida: family safety, happiness, the right of parents to decide what their kids learn in school. That message wins,” Carlson said.
