The Proud Boys Claimed They Had A Member “At The White House For Four Years”

Dear God...

The possible relationship between now-former President Donald Trump and the white supremacy group the Proud Boys has been a sickening one, at best, for some time now. No one will soon forget Trump’s now-infamous “stand back and stand by” comment made directly to the hate group when he was asked to condemn the Proud Boys during his first round of debates against now-President Joe Biden.

In the wake of the comment made during the presidential debate, Trump did eventually condemn the group, saying, “I condemn the Proud Boys. I don’t know much about the Proud Boys, almost nothing, but I condemn that,” before going off on one of his trademark unhinged rants, nearly demanding that Joe Biden condemn ANTIFA.

However, that was far from the end of the saga between Donald J. Trump and the Proud Boys.

A while back, the leader of the infamous hate group, chairman Enrique Tarrio, seemed to suggest that he had been invited to the White House after he posted a photo of himself inside the White House gates to the right-wing social media platform, Parler, saying that he has a “last-minute invite to an undisclosed location.”

The Trump White House was reportedly forced to deny the claims made by Tarrio and assert that no such invitation was made.

“He was on a public White House Christmas tour,” Judd Deere, a spokesman for the White House at the time said. “He did not have a meeting with the president, nor did the White House invite him.”

However, the outrage had already, rightfully so, been ignited — which ultimately led us to this apparent revelation.

On the official Parler account of the hate group, the Proud Boys — who often claim their threats of violence are just jokes that shouldn’t be taken seriously by the media — questioned why people were outraged at the idea of a White House meeting for Tarrio in the first place, writing, “There’s been a Proud Boy at the White House for 4 years and everyone’s shocked about the pic from today.”

It is assumed, but not confirmed, that the comment was a thinly-veiled reference to Donald Trump.
