US history was made today, as millions of Americans watched as the moment we have all been waiting so many long, hard years for unfolded on live television for the world to see — former President Donald J. Trump walking inside a Manhattan courthouse, where he was technically arrested, booked, fingerprinted, processed, and then faced his formal arraignment on a staggering 34 felony charges related to the infamous Stormy Daniels hush money investigation, and multiple other newly-uncovered schemes by the ex-president and his people to silence individuals ahead of the 2016 presidential election, and cooking their books to keep from getting caught.
Photos have since been released from inside the Manhattan courtroom — after Trump’s legal team won their bid to ban live cameras from the historical legal proceedings — and were quick to show that the scandal-ridden ex-president did not look to be in good spirits as he faces down the most monumental, brutal legal peril of his life.
However, whatever Trump’s personal mood and demeanor may or may not be, this morning’s brutal legal process did nothing to staunch the Trump 2024 campaign’s desperate, pathetic grab for cash from the ex-president’s base of rabid, delusional supporters.
We reported this week that Donald’s presidential re-election campaign has seen a disturbing windfall in donations in the aftermath of his official indictment, and they still want more. So much so, in fact, that they were willing to slap a fake Trump mugshot across cheap t-shirts with the words “NOT GUILTY” emblazoned across them that they’re now hawking to Donald’s fan base for a “donation” of at least $47.

An email went out from the Trump campaign this morning to the ex-president’s base of supporters, asking his fans to send him a donation of no less than $47 and the campaign would send them the mugshot shirt for “FREE.”
“NOT GUILTY,” the email reads. “Do you stand with President Trump … Please make a contribution of $47 or more to Win in 2024 – and we’ll send you your very own ‘NOT GUILTY’ T-Shirt for FREE.”
“The only photo certified by President Donald J. Trump,” the Trump campaign says of the photo.
Multiple reports revealed that Trump was not expected to have his mugshot taken and MSNBC’s Katy Tur as well as Axios has confirmed that the photo on the t-shirts is a fake mugshot image.
KCBS political reporter Doug Sovern tweeted “Trump may not have to pose for an official mugshot but he’s already hawking one of his own on a t-shirt, for a $47 donation. A master of self-promotion, even on a day when he’s the first former US president ever to hear the words ‘You’re under arrest.’”
