We're literally on the naughty list thanks to Trump.

As Trump continues to botch his response to the coronavirus pandemic in every conceivable way, the rest of the world is reportedly starting to push the brakes down hard on the United States to prevent a resurgence of the potentially deadly virus in their own areas that’s akin to what we’re seeing here in America.

According to a new report from Business Insider, the UK has put the United States on its “red list” of countries that they will not be relaxing travel rules against amid the pandemic and the new spikes that the States has seen due to Trump’s rapid reopening plan.

The report notes that, as of Friday, July 10th, people that are arriving in England from several different countries will no longer be required to quarantine themselves for the 14-day period to avoid the spread of the potentially fatal virus — the most recent stage of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s plan to reopen the country.

However, on the list of those countries safe to forego the two week quarantine period, the United States is nowhere to be found.

In fact, the US was added to the country’s “red list.”

According to the report from Business Insider:

The UK government has divided the approved list of countries into ‘green’ and ‘amber,’ depending on the level of risk associated with COVID-19, according to multiple reports.

However, the US has been put on a red-list’ of countries that are deemed too unsafe for people to visit, UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps confirmed on Friday morning.”

Speaking to the BBC, Shapps said “I’m afraid it will be” when questioned as to whether the United States would ultimately be red-listed.

“The US from a very early stage banned flights from the UK and from Europe so there isn’t a reciprocal arrangement in place,” he stated.

As many countries around the globe have finally managed to suppress the virus’ spread thanks to stringent guidelines including mass lockdowns, social distancing measures, masks, and quarantine periods, the United States just reported its highest number of new infections on Wednesday, with a confirmed 50,600.

As a result of the massive resurgence of cases, many states that eagerly jumped on Trump’s premature reopening plan, such as  California, Florida, and Arizona, have been forced to reissue lockdowns on their states.
