Since the heinous and ongoing Russian invasion and attack against Ukraine that started just over a month ago, under the direct order of Russia’s unhinged dictatorial President Vladimir Putin, people in this country (most namely on the Republican side of the fence, no surprise there) have been critical of US President Joe Biden for calling Donald Trump’s favorite Russian dictator out for precisely what he is — a war criminal.
But, in a move that’s only served as a reminder of why we voted Biden into office in the first place, the President is not backing down. In fact, as more reports come out detailing the stomach-churning, unbelievable, gut-wrenching atrocities that Russian forces have been committing against Ukrainian citizens, President Biden has only doubled down.
In fact, this morning, United States President Joe Biden officially, publicly called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be tried for the numerous, “brutal” war crimes he has committed in his ongoing war against Ukraine, as reports and images of hundreds of heinous murders and monstrous rapes of Ukrainian people by Russian military forces have made waves in the media.
“You may remember I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal,” President Biden said while standing on the White House lawn. “Well, the truth of the matter, you saw what happened in Bucha. This warrants him – he is a war criminal.”

“Well, we have to gather the information. We have to continue to provide Ukraine with weapons they need to continue the fight. And we have to gather all the details so this can be – have an actual war crimes trial.”
“This guy is brutal. And what’s happening to Buka is outrageous. And everyone’s seen it.”
We stand with the people and the country of Ukraine. And we stand with President Biden.
