Yesterday afternoon, Donald Trump finally pulled his head out of his ass and did the very first beneficial thing since the whole coronavirus ordeal started when he announced a national emergency — opening up pathways for Congress and individual states to finally start helping American citizens and get this nation through what is now officially a pandemic.
It only took him a few thousand American infections or deaths or so to get on the ball.
But the thing of it is, like everything that Donald Trump does in his life, his reasoning behind the move was the farthest thing from pure.
In the end, Donald has always and will always care about himself first and foremost. The list of people that come after himself are few and far between and his compassion and kindness towards them is conditional, at best. And I’m here to tell you now, on the off chance that you hadn’t already figured it out for yourself, the American public or even just basic human life, in general, isn’t anywhere to be found on that list.

Frankly, Trump knew if he didn’t do something drastic and useful, and do it soon, his chances at another four years in the White House were all but gone — the rapid, record-breaking plummets in the stock market were essentially proof enough of that.
So it comes as no surprise that Donald is quickly jumping on the opportunity to brag about the fact that he did the bare minimum, weeks too late, and the stock market is finally reflecting that something is better than nothing and we might actually all survive this crap.
Fox Business News’ Lou Dobbs revealed on his segment last night that Donald Trump actually gifted him with a signed copy of the Dow stock chart that increased by about 1,000 points during Trump’s speech in which he declared a national emergency regarding COVID-19.
Quite literally, the stock market and his ability to ruin our lives is the only thing that man gives a damn about. Always has been. Always will be.
