Trump Appears To Have Nothing Better To Do, Tweets “Spaceballs” Parody Attacking Bloomberg

This is just too much.

Donald Trump’s administration has a thing for the 1987 Mel Brooks classic “Spaceballs,” apparently. In late January, Deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley invoked the film while referring to Trump’s impeachment to say that Democrats were trying to “splice it together [and] pass it off as real.” It’s now March, and the crazy-time president just literally tweeted out a clip of the film that is spliced together in order to lash out at Michael Bloomberg, who recently suspended his campaign.

Bloomberg responded in a juvenile manner to Trump after the president attacked him on Twitter when the New York billionaire ended his campaign. Trump, though, is supposed to be the leader of the free world, and that means acting like an adult. Of course, with this president, it would be breaking news if he acted appropriately and respected the office he holds.

Trump tweeted this, obviously because nothing important is going on in the world:

Twitter users had something to say.

Trump has been disparaging each Democrat that has dropped out of the race — then his family members, such as Don Jr., and Eric, pile in, too, in order to back up their freeloading knobheaded father.

Trump needs his playtime limited as the deadly coronavirus is spreading worldwide. There are now 162 confirmed cases across the United States. Reports of cases in New Jersey and Tennessee brought the number of states with infected patients to 18, and there are likely to be more since the Trump administration has failed to meet its promised timeline of having a million coronavirus tests available by the end of the week.

That means people who are unaware that they have contracted COVID-19 are out there gallivanting and whatnot with others, thus spreading the deadly coronavirus. But sure, Spaceballs is more important.
