Trump Appears Too Scared To Touch His Own Face Amid Virus Outbreak: “I Haven’t Touched My Face In Weeks! I Miss It!”

You mean it might actually be serious, Donald?!

Ever since the deadly coronavirus started to make waves around the world a few weeks ago, Donald Trump has been doing everything within his power to convince the masses that it’s just not a big deal.

Despite multiple deaths around the world and right here in the United States. Despite numerous warnings from the CDC, W.H.O., and a plethora of experts saying this thing is reaching pandemic level, and quickly. Despite record-breaking lows in the stock markets. Despite the fact that, no matter what Trump says, a vaccine for the virus is at least a year out.

Donald Trump just doesn’t want you to worry about it. He wants you to act and vote as though nothing is amiss, as though he didn’t completely wipe out the pandemic response team once implemented in the White House by his predecessor, as though he didn’t clean the nation out of all our emergency funding for these types of things and instead wants to take money from people who can’t afford to heat their homes to pay for his mistakes.

He just wants you to not worry about it — all while he, personally, worries about it a whole lot.

This morning, Trump held a meeting with airline executives regarding their concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak where they discussed things that could be done to prevent the spread of the deadly illness. While speaking to reporters Trump declared, “I haven’t touched my face in weeks. I miss it.”

The people in the room laughed at Trump’s statement, though I’m not sure if it was actually out of comic relief or more just fear that this is the man who we’re supposed to be depending on to save us from a pandemic. But I digress.

How about this, Donald? If you’re too scared to touch your own damn face, maybe start taking it seriously, huh?
