Trump Attacked Fox News Reporter After He Asked About Disbanded Pandemic Team: “What Are You, Working For CNN?”

He can't stand being called out!

In case you hadn’t heard, when Donald Trump took the presidency back in 2017, he didn’t waste much time at all in firing almost the entire pandemic response team that his predecessor, Barack Obama, had put together during his term to help combat not only the Ebola outbreak that took place under his administration but any potential ones that could pop up in the future, as well.

While Trump didn’t wipe out the whole team his forerunner left behind for him in various, at-risk places around the world, he did thin it out pretty much to the point of uselessness — which has presented quite an issue now that we’re in the midst of a deadly pandemic that makes the Ebola outbreak look like child’s play.

But Donald really doesn’t want to talk about it.

Trump has made a point to treat this pandemic much like every other problem he’s had during his presidency (and they’ve been many) by blaming it all on Obama — despite the fact that this massive outbreak is taking place a good three full years after his predecessor left the White House.

During yesterday’s Coronavirus Task Force press briefing, one reporter was sure to point this out to Trump as he went on yet another tirade against his forerunner.

“Remember this, we inherited — the word is we inherited — bad tests,” Trump declared during the briefing. “We really inherited bad tests, these are horrible tests.”

Trump didn’t inherit a thing other than a bad attitude, a business he ran into the ground, and a receding hairline. The tests for COVID-19 were created this year by the CDC that’s headed by a Trump-appointed official. The New York Times even reported recently that the Trump administration lost a full month’s headway against the pandemic because they kept botching the testing rollout.

Fox News reporter John Roberts wasn’t having it.

“You have talked about the failings of the Obama administration in leaving you with empty shelves and no plans,” Roberts stated. “They have said you got rid of the pandemic office in the National Security Council–”

“We didn’t do that,” Trump cut him off with a blatant lie. “That turned out to be a false story.”

He went on to demand, “What are you, working for CNN?”

“No, no, no,” the Fox reporter responded. “I’m pointing out what they have said and what you have said – that’s all.”

“I thought you were with Fox,” Trump shot back. “But Fox isn’t so easy, either. Don’t kid yourself.”

Roberts objected, stating, “It’s not about Fox or CNN.”

But Donald doubled-down, “Look, John, let me tell you something. You know that’s a false story. What you just said is a false story.”

Forgive us, we forgot that all news is “fake news” unless it paints Don the Con in a flattering light.
