Donald Trump on Friday signed a bipartisan $2 trillion economic relief package for American workers, airlines, the unemployed, and small businesses that are impacted by the coronavirus pandemic that has forced some states to shut down. The bill passed easily even though Republican Rep. Thomas Massie pulled a stunt to interfere with the passage of the bill. Every Democrat was on board. Hours after it passed the House, Donald Trump signed the legislation and thanked Republicans and Democrats “for coming together, setting aside their differences and putting America first” with the legislation.
“We got hit by the invisible enemy, and we got hit hard,” Trump said during the signing ceremony. “I think we are going to have a tremendous rebound.”
The only problem is that no Democrats were invited to the event. That’s probably because Trump is an unrelenting piece of shit that can’t put grudges aside during a national crisis. It’s probably for the best since the image of the signing shows Republicans all crammed in together for the signing, and we’re sure they haven’t all been tested for COVID-19.
Twitter users blasted the petty, petulant, potentate.

Trump, of course, just wants the signing to be all about him instead of the elected officials who worked hard to get it passed. Everything has to be about him. Always.
