Former President Barack Obama is once again showing his “replacement” how a true president is supposed to behave amid a global crisis such as this.

As we all know, Donald has been squabbling with the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Frankly, it all boils down to the same issue Trump has with pretty much anyone with the common sense God gave a goose — he doesn’t like to be wrong, especially not corrected when he’s wrong, and he’s wrong A LOT.

Dr. Fauci made it clear from the beginning that he works for the American people, not for the president, and he’s done a damn good job of sticking to his promise throughout this crisis, even it means detracting from the president, leading to an extremely butthurt Donald Trump.

Time and time again, Donald has attempted to undermine the good doctor in regard to everything from medication he’s attempted to tout as a COVID-19 cure that’s not yet anywhere near FDA approval, to a time frame on opening the country back up. Nevertheless, Dr. Fauci continues to push back against Trump’s irresponsible and erroneous claims in an effort to ensure that the American public gets the proper, safe information we need.

It’s safe to say that Fauci shouldn’t be expecting any displays of gratitude from Donald Trump.

However, the Trump predecessor who we’re all so desperately missing at the moment was sure to heap deserving appreciation on the doctor he worked closely with for eight years.

NBA star Stephen Curry and Dr. Anthony Fauci recently held a live Instagram Q&A session to discuss the coronavirus and the measure we need to take to help slow its spread and return our country back to normal.

Evidently, Obama was sitting in on the social media session and took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as well as the NBA star for their efforts in combating the pandemic.

“Listen to the science. Do your part and take care of each other,” former President Obama commented on the live Q&A in real-time. “Thank you, Steph and Dr. Fauci.”

Obama himself has diligently done his part to remind the public the importance of following the guidelines laid out by the professionals regarding the spread of coronavirus, tweeting out earlier this week, “It’s only going to get harder across the country. Another reason to maintain social distancing policies at least until we have comprehensive testing in place. Not just for our sake—for theirs.”

Meanwhile, the president is mad tweeting at the wrong companies.
