Donald Trump is getting slammed from both sides for his disastrous, poorly thought out government shutdown and now the president is desperate to convince the country that he knows what he’s doing (even though he clearly has no idea). Early this morning, the president was on his favorite announcement platform, Twitter, to blast the media and lie about how much support his border wall and government shutdown was getting. He tweeted:
Great support coming from all sides for Border Security (including Wall) on our very dangerous Southern Border. Teams negotiating this weekend! Washington Post and NBC reporting of events, including Fake sources, has been very inaccurate (to put it mildly)!

The Democrats could solve the Shutdown problem in a very short period of time. All they have to do is approve REAL Border Security (including a Wall), something which everyone, other than drug dealers, human traffickers and criminals, want very badly! This would be so easy to do!

In yet another tweet that followed, Trump claimed that most federal workers who were suffering and not getting paid due to his shutdown were Democrats — and he admitted that he didn’t give a sh*t about them.
I don’t care that most of the workers not getting paid are Democrats, I want to stop the Shutdown as soon as we are in agreement on Strong Border Security! I am in the White House ready to go, where are the Dems?

However, this tweet contradicts what The Donald said yesterday when he claimed that many unpaid federal workers would support his government shutdown for border security — which is obviously very unpopular among Democrats. Trump can hardly keep his statements straight nowadays, and we can barely keep track of all this insanity. The president is heading for a major breakdown, and we’re watching it unfold in realtime.
