Trump Claps Back At Candace Owens Over Recent Remarks And We Did Not See This Coming

Former President Donald Trump bungled his response to the COVID-19 pandemic when he was in office. Still, we certainly can’t take issue with Trump pushing back on vaccine misinformation from his supporters, especially an anti-vaxxer like conservative media personality Candace Owens. He’s a bit late, but we’ll take it.

On the “Daily Wire” podcast, Owens seemed to think that the former President would go along with what she was suggesting about the vaccine. Her take is that since people are dying from the coronavirus, the vaccines don’t work. Leave it to Owens to make Trump out to be the reasonable guy. Oh, and he’s smarter, too. You wouldn’t think that’s possible, but here we are. Candace Owens made Trump look smart.

“I came up with a vaccine, with three vaccines,” Trump said. “All are very, very good. Came up with three of them in less than nine months. It was supposed to take five to 12 years.”

“Yet more people have died under COVID this year,” Owens told Trump. “By the way, under Joe Biden, than under you and more people took the vaccine this year. So people are questioning how…”

Trump interjected to rightfully say that vaccinated individuals aren’t the ones getting hospitalized.

“Oh no, the vaccines work, but some people aren’t the ones. The ones who get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don’t take the vaccine. But it’s still their choice. And if you take the vaccine, you’re protected,” Trump explained.

“Look, the results of the vaccine are very good, and if you do get it, it’s a very minor form,” Trump added. “People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.”

Did you notice how Owens quickly changed the subject? I’m not sure how Candace doesn’t know that the majority of Americans that are dying from COVID are unvaccinated people. This isn’t hard. Even Trump is starting to get it.
