Late yesterday evening, CNN broke the bombshell news that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has executed a search warrant raid on ex-President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home/resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
Donald Trump himself confirmed the raid in a statement that was delivered to CNN following the news, as well as in a statement through his Save America PAC that was posted across social media.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home… is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has happened to a President of the United States before… They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat [sic] National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States,” Trump fumed in the statement that confirmed the FBI raid at his Palm Beach complex. “The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!”
“The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped,” Trump screamed in the unhinged, fear-laden statement. “I will continue to fight for the Great American People!”

That last sentence there was enough to lead us to believe that Donald Trump isn’t about to back down from the 2024 race that we know he’s soon to throw his hat into — despite the legal theories that began to circulate last night, indicating that this scandal could prevent Trump from running again if he tried.
But if that last sentence wasn’t enough to convince you that Trump is still barreling forward, this should be.
Late last night, the scandal-ridden ex-president took to his floundering Truth Social platform with what the Daily Mail described as “an eerie apocalyptic ad,” in which he referred to the US as a “nation in decline” while doubling down on his recent promises of a White House return, stating, “the best is yet to come” — just mere hours after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago home.
Donald Trump’s voice plays over the eerie video ad, as the clip opens with a startling clap of thunder and black and white photos of America.
“We are a failing nation,” Trump’s voice says over the clip, before harping on inflation, energy costs, and soldiers in Afghanistan.
