Trump Had Pastor Who Once Said “You Can’t Be Saved Being A Jew” Speak At His Hanukkah Party

Trump is going to put The Onion out of business.

Donald Trump signed an executive order allegedly aimed at combatting anti-Semitism on college campuses on Wednesday, and the event was weird, to say the least. Trump is actually targeting boycotts against Israel’s policies, and according to the New York Times, the executive order would classify Judaism as a race or nationality instead of a religion. Just a few days ago, Trump addressed the Israeli American Council, and said, “You’re not nice people at all, but you have to vote for me. You have no choice.” So, yeah, this whole thing is bizarre.

Adding to the surreal nature of his signing-event, one of the speakers has made controversial remarks in the past, including his claim that Jews are going to hell.

Trump called upon evangelical Christian leader Robert Jeffress to speak, saying that he’s a “tremendous faith leader.” Trump, by the way, doesn’t seem to have a solid relationship with the Christian faith — or any faith for that matter. Still, Jeffress responded by calling Trump “the most pro-faith president in history.”

Jeffress has a history of making shitty comments about other faiths.

In 2010, he called both Islam and Mormonism ‘a heresy from the pit of hell,’ then issued a warning to Jews.

‘Judaism ― you can’t be saved being a Jew,’ he declared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.”

Jeffress has even bashed evangelicals, but only the ones that don’t support his “president.” Earlier this year he said evangelicals who don’t support Donald Trump are “spineless morons.”

Jeffress has repeatedly claimed that Trump as “the most pro-life president in history,” despite the former reality show star being pro-choice right up until he ran for office.

In October, Jeffress warned of a Civil War if Trump is removed from office.

“I do want to make this prediction this morning: If the Democrats are successful in removing the president from office, I’m afraid it will cause a Civil War-like fracture in this nation from which this country will never heal,” Jeffress said.

The controversial Trumpian pastor should brush up on his Bible: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

Conservatives and some Democrats, too, want to clamp down on boycotts against Israel’s policies, but categorizing it as a form of anti-Semitism is dangerous to our republic. Disagreeing with Israel’s policies does not make a person anti-Semitic. However, Trump’s BFF Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might because he was indicted on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. We’re pretty sure that Jesus, who was a Jew, would not approve of corruption.

I’m old enough to remember the racists who stormed the streets of Charlottesville while holding Tiki Torches and shouting Nazi-era slogans in this “president’s” name. Also, Trump was backed by every white supremacist group across the board. I guess Jeffress hasn’t been paying attention. Either that or the man is a fraud, just like his “president.”
