Frankly, things have been going pretty consistently badly for scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump.
His corrupt family company has officially been found guilty in the Manhattan DA’s criminal tax fraud trial against the Trump Organization following multiple bombshells that came out of longtime CFO Allen Weisselberg’s damning testimony in the case. New York Attorney General Letitia James’ massive $250 million civil lawsuit against the Trump family and their company is still going as strong as ever. The US Department of Justice is still coming after him with the full force of the highest law in the land over not only the January 6th Capitol attack and Trump’s attempt to enact a literal coup to keep himself in power but also regarding the ongoing Mar-a-Lago stolen government document case, which just gained even more steam after it was discovered that more stolen, hidden materials were found in one of Trump’s Florida storage units. And, the as the January 6th House Select Committee’s investigation comes to a close, the Committee’s Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson confirmed that they WILL be making several criminal referrals to the Justice Department — it is, of course, heavily assumed that the ex-president will be among those referrals.
It’s safe to say that Donald Trump’s days of skirting repercussions, accountability, and the literal law are rapidly coming to an end and, suffice it to say, he’s not handling that well.
As these developments broke, we saw the scandal-ridden former president take to his struggling Truth Social platform with one of his most unhinged, panic-fueled public meltdowns to date — complete with numerous shouty caps posts.
