Scandal-ridden ex-President Trump’s fear and fury are beginning to meld into a discernable mix of mania as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s bombshell investigation breaths down his neck hot and heavy, effectively adding more legal peril to the former guy’s already tumultuous and disgraced post-White House life.
Alvin Bragg has certainly been the center of his own controversy since taking over the Manhattan DA post following Cyrus Vance, as it seems that Bragg was going to do absolutely nothing with the investigations and influx of evidence they had against the corrupt former president. At one point, Bragg’s office even saw a windfall of resignations in protest against his apparent inaction. But it seems that inaction was short-lived, as the DA is hammering forward with his investigation against Donald Trump for the infamous $130,000 hush money payment made to Donald’s old alleged affair partner, adult film star Stormy Daniels, by his then-personal attorney and “fixer” Michael Cohen, on Trump’s behalf, in an effort to keep Daniels quiet about their sexual affair amid his 2016 presidential campaign.
Both Daniels and Cohen have participated in Bragg’s investigation, with Cohen testifying that he was given direct orders by his then-boss Donald Trump to deliver the alleged “hush money” payments to Daniels as the 2016 election rapidly closed in. Cohen said he paid Stormy the $130,000 ordered by Trump in exchange for her promise to not talk to reporters, and Donald later reimbursed him for the check cut to Daniels.
Cohen infamously did prison time on charges of violating campaign finance laws, much of which was in relation to the Daniels payments, yet Trump himself has never faced any charges in that infamous incident. However, Bragg could soon change that.

In connection to the Manhattan DA’s probe, the former president could soon face charges in connection to falsifying business records, as well as ordering and facilitating secret payments with the purpose of intentionally burying and manipulating damning information that could destroy his presidential campaign.
With all of that being said, it seems the former president is beginning to mentally break down over that mere prospect, and his unhinged social media rants are showing it.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump raged:
The Racist Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, who is presiding over one of the most dangerous and violent cities in the U.S., and doing NOTHING about it, is being pushed relentlessly by the Radical Left Democrats, the Fake News Media, and the Department of ‘Injustice,’ to bring charges against me for the now ancient ‘no affair’ story of Stormy ‘Horseface’ Danials, where there is no crime and charges have NEVER been brought on such a case before. In the meantime, Hunter & Joe Biden skate!”
It’s worth noting here that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is Black.
Back in January, the former president all but told on himself with regard to the Daniels fiasco, when he wrote in an unhinged social media post that the “Stormy nonsense … is VERY OLD & happened a long time ago.”
Of course, stating out loud that it “happened a long time ago” inadvertently confirmed that it did, in fact, happen — and Stormy herself sank her claws in that fact, taking to her own Twitter with a screenshot of Donald’s manic meltdown, writing, “Thanks for just admitting that I was telling the truth about EVERYTHING. Guess I’ll take my ‘horse face’ back to bed now, Mr former ‘president.'”
Thanks for just admitting that I was telling the truth about EVERYTHING. 😂 Guess I’ll take my “horse face” back to bed now, Mr. former “president”.
Btw, that’s the correct way to use quotation marks. 💋 pic.twitter.com/VSG867kwk8— Stormy Daniels (@StormyDaniels) January 31, 2023
Trump was, of course, sure to use the opportunity to not only attack Daniels and the DA, but also throw in an ill-placed attack against President Biden and his son Hunter, implying that all of these entities should be investigating them instead.
In true Trump fashion, this manic mental meltdown appears to be coming on the heels of a pretty bombshell development in the case against him, as news just recently broke that his former strategist and White House aide Kellyanne Conway met with Manhattan prosecutors in their case against her old boss.
