Scandal-plagued former President Donald Trump is becoming the very definition of the age-old saying, “Oh, how the mighty fall,” and he’s not coping well with that fact.
The thoroughly disgraced ex-president made his way into a Manhattan courthouse this morning, where he will stand trial on 34 felony charges brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, related to falsifying business records and illegal campaign finances in connection to hush money payments made to his alleged affair partners, in exchange for their silence, in an effort to protect his 2016 presidential campaign.
In an unhinged and truly desperate post to his equally floundering Truth Social platform last night, on the eve of his hush money trial start date, Trump made it clear to the world just how far he truly has fallen, as he launched his trademarked attacks against his successor Joe Biden, the United States legal system, and his humiliating fall from grace.
“Just four years ago I was a very popular and successful President of the United States, getting more votes than any sitting President in history,” the former president lamented in his long-winded social media post. “Tomorrow morning I’ll be in Criminal Court, before a totally conflicted Judge, a Corrupt Prosecutor, a Legal System in CHAOS, a State being overrun by violent crime and corruption, and Crooked Joe Biden’s henchmen ‘Rigging the System’ against his Political Opponent, ME!”

In true Trump fashion, the former president went on to argue that it’s not just him on trial for making illegal hush money pay-offs to porn stars he allegedly had affairs with, but, in fact, the whole of the United States of America.
“I will be fighting for myself but, much more importantly, I will be fighting for our Country,” he fumed in his post. “Election Interference like this has never happened in the USA before and, hopefully, will never happen again. We are now a Nation in serious Decline, a Failing Nation, but we will soon be a Great Nation Again. November 5th will be the most important day in the History of the United States.”
He concluded by signing off with an enthusiastic, all-caps, “MAGA2024! SEE YOU TOMORROW.”
