Unless you’ve been living under a rock in Siberia, you’ve heard all about the scandal surrounding soon-to-be-former Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.
Let me preface this by saying that, even as a left-leaning company, we’re disgusted by Cuomo and his actions and we firmly stand beside his victims. We could not be happier to see him go. We do not make excuses for sexual assaulters regardless of which “side” they hail from. Garbage is garbage, red or blue.
Now, I digress.
Even amid numerous allegations of sexual harassment from multiple credible accusers, Cuomo continued to cling to power in the Big Apple for as long as he could — refusing to leave office among numerous calls from the Left and Right for his resignation. However, the big shot finally caved earlier this week and submitted his formal resignation, effective in two weeks, and cited a concern for things such as the Delta COVID variant for why he was suddenly willing to remove himself.
Again, we are more than thrilled to see him go and we hope beyond hope that justice is served and he is held accountable for the things he’s done. With that being said, throngs of Republican talking heads have used the Cuomo scandal as an opportunity to point fingers at the “other side,” obviously without realizing how many fingers are pointing back at themselves.

In fact, clapbacks like “Now do Matt Gaetz” and “Now do Donald Trump” have swirled on Twitter all week as various GOPers open their sanctimonious mouths about Andrew Cuomo.
But now the hypocritical mother lord has finally opened his mouth, just like we knew he would.
Disgraced ex-president and accused serial rapist, Donald J. Trump, has finally broken his silence on the Cuomo scandal, and, wouldn’t you know, his first response to the ordeal seemingly came in the form of a fundraising email, per reporting from The Hill.
In a new fundraising email pumped out by Trump’s Save America PAC, the former president writes, “Friend, Andrew Cuomo has got real problems – he handled COVID horribly and he’s DESTROYED New York – and it’s about time he resigned.”
“To tell you the truth, this guy is a TOTAL LOSER, and New York, as well as the entire country, is better off without him,” he goes on to add in the email.
“America is actually better off without a lot of Liberal Wokesters like Cuomo. We got rid of one, and now the real work begins,” the apparent fundraising pitch concludes.
As you’d expect, the responses among Americans and just humans alike were quick to point out the blatant hypocrisy going on in Trump’s latest email pitch:
