Trump Just Confirmed Our Worst Fears In New Interview, Says He’s Already Made His Decision About 2024

God help us.

Look, we all know Donald Trump is going to run again, come Hell or high water.

Unless the January 6th Committee, or one of the other entities currently investigating his corruption and crimes, finally holds this man accountable and makes that third White House run impossible from a legal or physical (can’t run for president from a jail cell) standpoint, we fully expect to see that man’s name on the 2024 ticket. There’s simply no way on earth his ego would allow for anything else.

But, he hadn’t confirmed it yet.

There was still that small ray of hope somewhere deep in our hearts that perhaps Donald would be too fearful of a second brutal loss to risk the humiliation again.

We should have known better.

The one-term, twice-impeached former guy has been skirting around an official announcement regarding his 2024 presidential candidacy since pretty much the moment 2020’s election results officially came in, but he would never fully commit.

That is, until now, it seems.

While Trump still hasn’t “officially” announced his candidacy, he recently participated in an interview with Olivia Nuzzi for New York Magazine, in which he did officially confirm our worst fears when he told Nuzzi flat-out that he’s made up his mind for sure when it comes to a third run at the White House — it all simply comes down to a matter of timing as far as when to officially announce at this point.

In her article that covers her interview with the disgraced former President, Nuzzi writes that she flat-out asked Donald Trump about his 2024 plans. At first, Trump responded, “Look, I feel very confident that, if I decide to run, I’ll win.”

“I fixated on If I decide,” Nuzzi writes, as she tells of pushing the former president for a more concrete answer.

Donald Trump eventually answered, “Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision.”

Olivia writes:

He wouldn’t disclose what he’d decided. Not at first. But then he couldn’t help himself. ‘I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after,’ he said. ‘You understand what that means?’ His tone was conspiratorial. Was he referring to the midterm elections? He repeated after me: ‘Midterms.’ Suddenly, he relaxed, as though my speaking the word had somehow set it free for discussion. ‘Do I go before or after? That will be my big decision,’ he said.”

It’s coming. It’s just a matter of when.
