The president of the United States is unwell, and nothing made that more apparent than the hissy-fits he’s been throwing on Twitter ever since his false claims about mail-in voting were fact-checked. Trump now wants to punish the behemoth social site with an executive order he is expected to sign today. From there, Trump shared a video of a member of Cowboys for Trump, with a man saying, “The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden addressed the U.S. crossing one hundred thousand coronavirus deaths in a video message on Wednesday, saying “the nation grieves with you.” Biden has been displaying leadership by wearing a protective face mask amid the national crisis that has nearly two million Americans infected with COVID-19. He’s leading by example.
Trump, though, has refused to wear one even though the masks are worn to protect others. The president is defying his own government’s advice on face coverings while making wearing a mask a political dividing point. Trump shared a tweet that praises the far-right-wing site The Federalist, saying, “masks aren’t about public health but social control. Image of Biden in black mask endorses culture of silence, slavery, and social death.”
“So many different viewpoints!” Trump tweeted.

Gee, should I believe the plague enthusiast in the White House or science? That’s such a dilemma.
Twitter users pounced.
there are only two viewpoints, really: do everything you can to keep yourself and the people around you safe, or irresponsibly spin the Big Wheel of Infection and take your chances with a deadly virus with no vaccine and no cure. very fine people on both sides, am I right bruh

It’s is 100% proven fact that masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19. 100%. Stop trying to find someone to say otherwise, just because you are too vain to wear a mask in public yourself.

What this country needs is a calm leader that doesn’t lack empathy. The U.S. does not have a president. Trump has let us know that we’re on our own. And that’s a strange strategy of Trump’s. When he mocks someone for wearing a protective face mask amid a raging pandemic, he’s mocking all of us.
