Former President Donald Trump released a statement through his spokesperson Liz Harrington on Wednesday after a Georgia judge dismissed a lawsuit alleging fraud in the 2020 presidential election in Fulton County. The Associated Press reports that Henry County Superior Court Chief Judge Brian Amero’s order dismissing the case says that the nine voters who launched the lawsuit “failed to allege a particularized injury.” He added that Georgia’s secretary of state’s office had provided a “substantive and detailed response” to his request for an update on any investigations into allegations of fraudulent or counterfeit ballots in the state’s most populous county.
And even though state election officials have said there’s no indication of fraud after three ballot counts and multiple investigations, Trump feels that the judge’s decision was “so unfair.”
“Here we go again,” Trump said. “After a very long wait, a judge in Georgia refuses to let us look at the ballots, which I have little doubt are terrible. This whole situation is a disgrace to our Country. Why can’t the public see the ballots?”
“Our Country is going to hell and we are not allowed transparency even in our Elections,” Trump continued. “The people of Georgia deserve to know the truth. So unfair to them and our Country. The fight continues, we will never give up. Our Elections are so corrupt and nobody wants to do anything about it!”
