In a five-hour stretch Friday evening, President Trump published 13 separate posts on Truth Social, ranging from economic claims to plans for a midterm rally and jabs at his political opponents.
Dallas got top billing early on.
Trump described an upcoming Republican gathering there as “THE GREATEST RALLY OF THEM ALL,” pitching it as the first-ever Midterm Convention. According to his post, Republicans from across the country would be gathering to celebrate recent wins, showcase candidates, and gear up for what he called the most important midterm election in the party’s history. He promised he’d speak on night one, then stick around for what he called an “earlier closing” on night two, plus “lots of closing” throughout the event.
🚨 Trump just locked in Dallas.
Night one: HE speaks.
Night two: music + early close.“The Greatest RALLY of them all.”

Jobs numbers made up their own separate post, distinct from the rally news.
Citing new August figures, Trump wrote that “our THRIVING Economy added 162 THOUSAND Jobs in August.” He built on that further, arguing his tariffs and broader economic approach are “bringing Manufacturing Jobs BACK to America.” The claim came alongside a repost of a Fox News segment covering the same job figures, along with a similar clip from CNBC, both featuring Trump’s image layered over the footage.
Great jobs number just announced, breaking all estimates (except mine!) by double and triple – And you haven’t seen anything yet! EMPLOYERS ADDED 162,000 JOB IN AUGUST. Lower the interest rates because the U.S.A. is a much stronger credit than it was just a short time ago! A… pic.twitter.com/wf3zdFfqRO

Another post took a harder turn toward politics.
Sharing a White House-branded rundown of alleged Democratic offenses, Trump wrote that “The Extreme Liberal Democrats are OUT OF THEIR MINDS!” He accused the party of prioritizing its own agenda over the interests of ordinary Americans, pointing specifically to a vote against denouncing socialism. He closed that post branding the party “the Enemy of the People,” a phrase that’s become something of a signature line for him lately, before signing off in his usual style.
The Extreme Liberal Dumocrats are OUT OF THEIR MINDS! They continue to put their dangerous agenda ahead of the American People by voting AGAINST denouncing Socialism and the Radical Dumocrat Socialists of America platform. A separate post a few hours later took aim at Democratic co-chair Megan Romer by name. The clip, featuring Senator John Barrasso, used footage of Romer discussing what she called policies “filled with extreme policies” during a Fox News appearance. The video strings together clips touching on ICE, the Senate, and the Supreme Court, though it strips much of the original context from her remarks in the process, weaving separate comments together to build a single, more damaging-sounding narrative than any one clip actually supports on its own.
Between the rally promotion, the economic messaging, and the political attacks, the full run of 13 posts amounted to a fairly complete preview of where the administration’s public messaging is headed heading into the fall campaign season.
