Donald Trump has long been trying to discredit President Biden and, more specifically, Biden’s mental cognizance and acuity, most recently trying to convince the public that Joe “doesn’t know he’s alive” — only to get his own son’s age wrong in a new interview.
This week, the scandal-plagued, multi-indicted former president — who is currently neck deep in his Manhattan Hush Money trial where he’s charged with a whopping 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection to his attempts to pay his alleged former affair partner for his silence during a presidential election — went on an absolute bender in a series of unhinged video rants posted to his Truth Social platform, in which he raged against the sitting president.
“He’s a confused man,” Trump said of Biden in the video rant blizzard. “He can’t put two sentences together. He doesn’t have a clue. He doesn’t know where he is. He doesn’t know he’s alive and he’s our president.”
This, of course, stands in relatively stark contrast to Trump’s other claims that Biden is so energetic that he must be coked up and demands that Biden be drug tested before he agrees to debate him.

But Trump himself isn’t winning any mental cognizance awards — a fact that was brutally highlighted when Donald literally got the age of his own son Barron wrong during a new interview.
In an exclusive interview that the former president sat for with Univision 51, Donald made the kind of gaffe that would undoubtedly serve as the focus of one of his unhinged video attacks had Joe Biden done it.
Trump made the whopper of a mistake when he was asked for his reaction to the news that his youngest son Barron was chosen as an RNC delegate (something that Barron has since declined via a message from his mother’s office):
Well, to me that’s very cute because it’s a very young guy and he’s graduating from high school this year. He’s a very good student, very smart.
And, I think that’s great. I think it’s very interesting too. But he’s pretty young. I will say. He’s 17, but, if they can do that, I’m. I’m all for it. I think I’m all for it. And he probably would be, knowing him. He would probably be for it to.”
It’s a pretty normal Trump statement, all in all, but Barron Trump is 18 years old. In fact, he just recently turned 18 — a milestone that you wouldn’t think a parent would forget.
That wasn’t Donald’s only faux pas, as he claimed in the same interview just a few minutes later that he is able to do many things at one time, incorrectly describing himself as “very ambidextrous.”
I’m able to put it aside and to, think about other things I can. I’m very ambidextrous, so to speak. I can do a lot of things at one time.
And, I’m willing to do and able to do things and lots of different things.
I run a business right now, but now I’m starting to get full back into the campaign mode. And we’re really, I mean, doing amazingly well. It’s, the best numbers we’ve ever had. It’s been incredible.”
