Trump Mocked By Chinese Officials And State Media For Hiding In A White House Bunker Like A Coward: “Mr. President, Don’t Go Hide”

President Donald Trump’s cowardice in the face of mass protests against police brutality and racial injustice and his failure to appropriately handle the crisis is now drawing mockery and criticism from Chinese officials and Chinese state media.

The murder of George Floyd sparked protests across the country, including at the White House. But rather than address the demands Americans are making, Trump chose to hide in a bunker under the White House and shut off the lights.

Indeed, Trump’s entire tough-guy facade came crashing down. And now he’s even more of a laughingstock overseas, particularly in China.

Trump has repeatedly attacked China over their handling of protests in Hong Kong — but Chinese President Xi Jinping never cowered in a bunker.

Now Chinese state media and Chinese officials are calling out Trump’s hypocrisy and mocking his cowardice.

According to The Guardian:

At a press conference on Monday, foreign ministry spokesman, Lijian Zhao urged the US to eliminate racial discrimination and protect the lawful rights of minorities, according to state-backed media, CGTN. ‘The death of George Floyd reflects the severity of racial discrimination and police brutality in the US,’ said Zhao. Zhao also threatened ‘counter-attacks’ on the US for continued retaliatory measures over China’s increased control over Hong Kong, which include reversing Hong Kong’s special customs status. On Sunday China’s foreign ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying posted ‘I can’t breathe’ — Floyd’s last words — to Twitter, with a screenshot of her American counterpart criticizing China’s crackdown on Hong Kong.”

It’s kinda hard for the United States to criticize other nations for human rights abuses when the president is a racist scumbag who advocates for violence against his own people.

State media outlet Global Times and editor-in-chief Hu Xijin also chimed in, per The Guardian.

In a series of tweets and editorials over the weekend, Hu and his paper accused the US of hypocrisy. ‘Mr President, don’t go hide behind the secret service,’ said Hu. ‘Go to talk to the demonstrators seriously. Negotiate with them, just like you urged Beijing to talk to Hong Kong rioters.’ In another tweet he said both protests defied the law, subverted order, and were destructive, but that Hong Kong’s were seen as justified by the US, while those in the US were unjust.”

America is a laughingstock around the world because of Trump. Our country is not respected as he has frequently insisted and we are weaker because of him. It’s time for a new leader — one that will rise to meet challenges instead of cowering like a frightened dog with its tail tucked between its legs.
