Donald Trump took a ride on Air Force One, then it touched down at Berry Field at Nashville International Airport, where the president then waddled onboard Marine One, then flew to Putnam County to check out some of the hardest-hit areas from this week’s deadly tornadoes that took lives and created devastation. The photo-ops were great for the president who is fighting for his chances of reelection amid the deadly coronavirus outbreak that has gone worldwide as the stock market continues to plummet.
A screen capture of the Fox News’ coverage of his visit is interesting, though, as it displays an image at the bottom of the Dow in disarray. And of course, never missing an opportunity to enrich himself, Trump is seen wearing MAGA merchandise. The image of the devastated area with Trump donning a Make America Great Again hat with the tumbling Dow numbers beneath him speaks volumes of his presidency.

Back in 2018, Quartz reported that when someone purchases a MAGA hat, it is legally considered a contribution to the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, not a commercial transaction. We’re sure not much has changed since then considering how much money Trump has made from his presidency by going to his properties while we, the taxpayers, are footed with the bill that includes stays for Secret Service members. That’s a nice little profit for Donald Trump.
Trump supporters always point to the fact that their president donates his $400,000 salary to a cause of his choice. Still, the former reality show star has played golf 248 times at a cost to taxpayers of $134 million, which equals 334 years’ worth of presidential salary. That figure, of course, doesn’t include the profits Trump is bringing in by using his properties, then gifting grifting us with the bill.
