Trump Puts Out A Veterans Day Message and Manages To Make It All About Himself

He is so cringe.

Last year, former President Donald Trump still hadn’t conceded the race he lost to Joe Biden in electoral and popular votes. Nothing has changed since then. In 2020, the twice-impeached one-term President didn’t offer remarks for Veterans Day, but he did this year. Today is a day that we honor our country’s military members for the sacrifices they made, and typically, one doesn’t say ‘Happy Veterans Day,’ but instead, we thank them for their service. But not if you’re Donald J. Trump.

The former President’s spokesperson, Liz Harrington, tweeted out Trump’s message to circumvent his ban on the behemoth social site after inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. It was also tweeted out by a host for the far-right media platform One America News (OAN).

Trump called military members “incredible people” who “served so well, and so strong, and so powerfully.” That’s when Trump turned the focus on himself, saying, “We will come back. Our country has gone through a lot. The last period of time has been very, very tough watching what you had to watch. But our country will be back. And we’ll be back stronger than ever.”

“Happy Veterans Day,” he added.

Watch:

That didn’t go down well.

Trump’s 42-second message to our country’s veterans was mainly about the November 2020 election that he lost. However, the former President’s narcissistic brain won’t allow him to accept defeat. He won’t stop doing this, even though it’s tearing our country apart. It’s all about him—even Veterans Day. Trump couldn’t even pretend to be grateful for 42 seconds. What a disgrace.
