Trump Rage Tweets About His Tantrum With Pelosi, Denies He Was Angry: “I Was Very Calm!”

I don't think we have the same definition of 'calm.'

President Donald Trump is possibly the most erratic and hotheaded person to walk the Earth. But of course, if you ask him, he’s calm, cool, and serene. The funny part is, he usually claims he’s so calm by yelling in your face.

That’s pretty much exactly what happened after Donald got his panties in a wad over the last two days.

Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blatantly accused Trump of committing an all-out “cover-up” by continually ignoring congressional subpoenas and requests for information, and instructing former and current members of his administration to do the same.

“We do believe that it’s important to follow the facts,” Pelosi told reporters after a closed-door meeting with her fellow House Democrats. “We believe that no one is above the law, including the president of the United States. And we believe the President of the United States is engaged in a cover-up.”

Of course, this left Donnie butthurt to the nth degree and resulted in one of his signature off-script rambles during an address from the Rose Garden. “I don’t do cover-ups. You people know that probably better than anybody.”

According to Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Trump’s public outburst came on the heels of a private one, when the president angrily stormed out of an infrastructure meeting over the “cover-up” line — where he refused to shake hands and left before the meeting was finished.

Schumer stated after the meeting was canceled, “To watch what happened in the White House would make your jaw drop.”

And Pelosi said, “I pray for the president of the United States, and I pray for the United States of America.”

Of course, if there’s anything that Donald Trump needs a refresher course on, it’s leaving well enough alone. As if he hadn’t already made a big enough ass out himself, he just had to fire back at the House Democrats for calling him out on his bullshit in an anything but calm tweet where he claimed that he was “extremely calm.”

“I was extremely calm yesterday with my meeting with Pelosi and Schumer,” Trump’s calm tweet read, “knowing that they would say I was raging, which they always do, along with their partner, the Fake News Media. Well, so many stories about the meeting use the Rage narrative anyway – Fake & Corrupt Press!”

While it’s certainly easy to make Trump look like a dipshit, you really don’t have to do much. He’s pretty good at removing all doubt of his stupidity all by himself.
