Trump Reportedly Busted For Allegedly Scrubbing His Website Of His Own Statements That Bragged About His Withdrawl Plans As Afghanistan Crumbles

This is beyond appalling.

Things are absolutely crumbling in Afghanistan as we speak after the Taliban seized the Presidential Palace in Kabul and took control of the country — leaving massive amounts of death and destruction in their wake already.

As you’d expect, disgrace ex-president Donald Trump is already running his mouth about the situation in one of his “official” statements released by his spokeswoman Liz Harrington this morning, since he still doesn’t have a Twitter account of his own. Trump went so far this morning as to call on President Biden to resign over the catastrophic situation currently taking place in the Middle East right now. However, in true Trump fashion, the former guy didn’t breathe a word of his own hand in the destruction of Afghanistan — i.e. his decision to pull American troops from the county. Instead, it seems he did what he always does and just attempted to scrub away any “proof” of his involvement or decisions as president.

It appears as though while Trump was lambasting and publicly attacking the sitting President of the United States, he was also working to quietly scrub his own website of any statements or information regarding his past efforts to pull American troops out of Afghanistan.

It was as recent as April of this year that former President Trump posted a statement regarding the Middle Eastern country to his personal website, writing at the time that pulling all US troops “out of Afghanistan is a wonderful and positive thing to do. I planned to withdraw [from Afghanistan] on May 1, and we should keep as close to that schedule as possible.”

However, over the past few days, as the chaos in Afghanistan mounted, that statement as well as several others focusing on the Middle Eastern country, appears to have been quietly scrubbed from Donald’s post-presidency website.

And as it turns out, it’s apparently not just Trump himself trying to scrub his reputation clean of conflicting statements on the Middle Eastern country amid this disaster.

Washington Post’s Dave Weigle reports that the Republican National Convention has also been busted deleting a page on their website that touted Donald Trump’s ‘historic peace agreement” with Afghanistan.

How quickly can the politics around Afghanistan change? Here’s a section on the RNC’s website in June; click it now and you get a 404 error.,” Weigle reported on Twitter, accompanied by a screenshot of the website’s page before it was removed.

As the WaPo reporter noted, the site’s page now leads users to a 404 error page that features an image of President Joe Biden and reads ” 4040 error — It looks like you are as lost as Biden is.”

The Guardian’s Hugo Lowell corroborated Weigel’s report, writing on Twitter, “New: Republican Party has removed a page from their website bragging about Trump’s deal with the Taliban that committed Biden to withdraw 5,000 US troops from Afghanistan — and led to the fall of Kabul today.”

The hypocrisy here is frankly impossible to ignore.
