Unsurprisingly so, the January 6th House Select Committee’s public hearings that are currently underway are serving as the massive, explosive bombshell we all knew they would be.
Over the next few days, the American people will see new, disturbing, never-before-seen evidence against the ex-president and his people come to light, proving that Donald Trump fully intended to enact a coup against this nation’s government and democratic process — for no other reason than the fact that he’s a sore loser with a fragile ego.
Today’s hearing is already well underway, and none other than Republican Wyoming Republican House Rep. Liz Cheney, who has literally all but destroyed and given up her own career in an effort to hold Donald Trump accountable for his endless crimes against this nation, is using her time to call the disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former guy out on his bullshit in a way he’s never even experienced before.
Speaking to the chambers and the world, the Vice-Chair of the January 6th House Select Committee had this to say about the way the literal US president chose to handle his affairs:
You will hear firsthand testimony that the president’s campaign advisors urged him to await the counting of votes and not to declare victory on election night. The president understood, even before the election, that many more biden voters had voted by mail, because President Trump ignored the adivce of his campaign experts and told his supporters only to vote in person. Donald Trump knew before the election that the counting of those mail in ballots in several states would not begin until late in the day and would not be complete for multiple days. This was expected, reported, and widely known.
You will also hear testimony that President Trump rejected the advice of his campaign experts on election night, and instead followed the course recommended by an apparently inebriated Rudy Giuliani to just claim he won, and insist that the vote counting stopped, to falsely claim that everything was fraudulent. He falsely told the American people that the election was not legitimate. In his words, quote, ‘A major fraud.’ Millions of Americans believed him.
Second, pay attention to what Donald Trump and his legal team said, repeatedly, about Dominion Voting Machines. Far flung conspiracies with a deceased Venezuelan Communist allegedly pulling the string. This was, quote, ‘Complete nonsense,’ as Bill Barr said.
President Trump’s own campaign advisors, his Department of Justice, and his cyber security experts all told him the same thing.”

According to the evidence, Donald Trump was so truly desperate that he was letting a drunk Rudy Giuliani call the shots. And this is only day two of the hearings.
