There’s no denying that Donald Trump and his family have been desperately trying to paint a very specific public picture of the early August FBI search and seizure warrant raid that took place at his Palm Beach country club turned post-White House personal residence. The “why” behind the raid has been common knowledge for some time now, as multiple reports and official documents have confirmed that FBI agents were authorized to enter Mar-a-Lago to seize and recover countless boxes full of top-secret, highly-classified government documents that were stolen from the White House by Trump and his people, and hidden away at his unsecured FL resort. The DOJ was forced to such an extreme because Trump personally chose to lie to the National Archives and Records Administration about his possession of the materials multiple times.
But when it comes to the finer details of what really took place behind the gilded walls of Mar-a-Lago, it seems the Trump family is doing their best to muddle things in the public’s eye.
Hot on the heels of the August FBI raid against his father’s golf resort and home, middle Trump son Eric gave an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, in which he rattled off a series of deeply disturbing claims that he said was the truth about what really happened when the FBI busted in on the ex-president’s Florida compound — ranging from allegations that FBI agents instructed Mar-a-Lago staff to turn off the security cameras, to claims that Donald’s attorney was forced to stand at the end of the resort’s driveway while the FBI raided the building.
Calling the search and seizure warrant raid a “coordinated attack” against his father that he vehemently insisted President Biden had prior knowledge of, the middle Trump son told the publication, “There’s 30 agents there. They told our lawyer… you have to leave the property right now. Turn off all security cameras.”

“They would not give her the search warrant,” Eric claimed. “So they showed it to her from about 10 feet away. They would not give her a copy of the search warrant.”
On the topic of the president, Eric couldn’t let go of the notion that Biden had prior knowledge of the impending raid.
“Do you think that the FBI director is going to raid the former president’s house, especially a house as you know, kind of world-renowned as Mar Lago is in a place as public as Mar Lago is without getting the approval of President [Biden]?” he fumed.
It seems clear to me that Trump and his family know that the former president is currently wading in what is shaping up to be the hottest water of his lifetime, with no foreseeable way out. It certainly appears as though they believe their only option is to convince this entire nation that this was yet another witch hunt attack against the man who’s had enough scandal to last a thousand lifetimes.
