Trump Team Is Bitter And Whiney, Reportedly Boo-Hoos To Their Hand-Picked Special Master About DOJ Making “Antagonistic” Comments And Publicly Exposing All Of Trump’s Pouty Complaints

Apparently, Donald Trump and his team feel like the US Department of Justice is being super mean to him, and they’re sick and tired of it, they tell ya!

In what may stack up to be their most pathetic new court filing yet, the scandal-ridden, washed-up ex-president’s legal team submitted a bitter, whiney complaint about all of the “antagonistic” comments that they claim are being made by the Justice Department amid the ongoing and rapidly mounting Mar-a-Lago document scandal, and went on to whine and pout about the DOJ publicly exposing the ridiculous complaints that have been secretly filed by the Trump legal team, among other things.

Trump’s legal team — consisting of attorneys James Trusty, Lindsey Halligan, and Evan Corcoran — submitted a new court filing today to Judge Raymond Dearie. Dearie now serves as the Special Master in the Mar-a-Lago document investigation after he was appointed as the ultimate “winner” out of the two individuals proposed by the Trump Team to serve as the so-called Special Master that Trump demanded on the case. In addition to the apparent accidental tattling they did on their own client this morning — when they admitted in the new court filing that “closer to 200,000 pages” of government documents were actually seized from the scandal-ridden former president’s country club turned personal residence — the Trump legal team submitted a laundry list of bitter, whiney grievances to Judge Dearie in their new filing.

The Trump Team dedicated a large portion of the filing to their whiney complaints about the DOJ, claiming that the US Justice Department used their recent court filing as an opportunity “to lecture Plaintiff’s counsel with conclusory and antagonistic comments regarding counsel’s privately filed objections.”

The Government also uses the opportunity of asking for an extension of deadlines to lecture Plaintiff’s counsel with conclusory and antagonistic comments regarding counsel’s privately filed objections to the Amended Case Management Plan. DOJ continues to mistake itself as having judicial authority. Its comments are not argument, but proclamations designed to steamroll judicial oversight and the Plaintiff’s constitutional rights. Along those lines, by participating in this litigation, the Plaintiff has not waived, and cannot be deemed to have waived, his rights under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, or any of his rights and immunities arising under the Constitution of the United States.”

But that wasn’t the end of their bellyaching. Not even close.

Trump’s team went on to bitterly pout about the previous complaints they have made under seal in the case, only for the DOJ to include those secretive complaints in their own public filing:

Finally, as the Government chose to include in its public filing references to our objections to the Amended Case Management Plan (which was sent to chambers directly as a letter), a copy of our letter is enclosed herewith, for consistent treatment and to preserve those objections before Your Honor. We remain available to discuss the resolution of these objections if it is helpful for Your Honor. Otherwise, we will continue to review and categorize documents upon receipt, in an effort to expeditiously complete the document review process and to identify areas of litigation under Rule 41(g).”

An unsealed version of the letter was included in their court filing.
